The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not. Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose between them?

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I started off by reading “A Pocketful of Sand” by M. Leighton. Afterwords, I had to see what else she wrote because I just fell in love with the way she writes. That is when I found the PHENOMENAL “Bad Boys” series…

This book just captivated me from the very first chapter. I thought it was so HILARIOUS when her and her friends ordered a STRIPPER! lol… This of course follows with some interesting actions on Olivia’s part. After this, I just couldn’t put the book down. I don’t want to tell you guys exactly EVERYTHING that happened, but I will tell you that she takes his clothes off so awkwardly. he he…

I was reading this book with some high expectations because I have heard about the AMAZING WONDERFUL Michelle Leighton. I am happy to say and astonished to say that she has met my expectations rather formally. She sky rocketed them, literally. I do not say this often either, so if you are hearing me say it, then you know that I mean it. This book left me speechless!! The ending was just something I would have NEVER in a million years guessed. Don’t get me wrong, I was a little close sometimes on how I thought it would all play out, but never on point. It just shocked me, and then when it was over, all I wanted was just MORE MORE of this series… The characters in this novel are also something so different then what I expected. They are so more intriguing then I thought they would be. I can not and will not tell you more because this is a part of the book you have to just read for yourself to see what I mean.

The main characters are named Olivia, Cash, and Nash. In the beginning of the book there is a LOVE TRIANGLE, which by the way I just absolutely LOVE!! I do not know why I love them so much, I know I am so weird. At first Olivia struggles for her feelings towards Cash and Nash. She just doesn’t know what to do. She likes them both so much. They are so much a like. <–(Not because their twins)… But in a totally different way.

Nash is a man with his head on his shoulders, and knows what he wants in life, so he is marriage material. He is going to school to become a lawyer. The only problem is, he is dating Olivia’s cousin Marissa. So that can be ideally so wrong on so many different levels.

Cash is the bad boy who every girl wants for a little while to play with. Cash also has his head on his shoulders but in a different kind of way. YES, he is a bad boy, but he also owns his own club called “Dual”.

They just couldn’t be any different, yet they are so much a like.

Olivia is a girl from a little town where she was raised on a sheep farm. Her mother left her a while back to live the city life. She left Olivia and Olivia’s dad behind to be with another man in the big city. She is going to school to be an accountant. Who the hell wants to be an accountant????? ha ha.. Anyways, she has been through so much with her crazy ex boyfriend down to her sick father who she cares for deeply, but he wants her to have her own life and finish college. She originally starts off by working at “Tad’s”, which is a little bar near where she used to live with her father. The commute though back and forth is just ridiculous. She knows the pay is good though, she tries to stay there and work as much as she can. That is until she gets a new offer to work with Cash at his club. She can bartend there for two dollars more an hour than what she makes working at Tad’s. So, she does just that. What can go wrong? It is just a job that pays more and is real close to her school and her new home.

This book, to me, was just a phenomenal 5 star read! The story line and characters were so well written. There is nothing at all in this story that I would have changed. Michelle Leighton did an amazing job writing this novel. I can not wait to read MORE of this Bad Boy series. I am going now to read the second book in the series, and I will let you know as soon as I am done because I will be raving about it so much. lol… I will leave my review when I am finished. So hope to tell you some more of this series VERY SOON!!

M. Leighton

I was born and raised in the United States, and I’ve lived in several of the fabulous fifty. Though I currently live in the deep South, I spent much of my childhood up North and hope to return there one day. A few other things about me: I believe that sometimes you have to look really, REALLY hard to find the good in people, but it’s there. I believe that I’m shrinking (I swear five years ago I was two inches taller). I believe my husband is quite possibly one of the most amazing men in the entire world (I can’t be sure because I haven’t met all of them). I believe coffee and chocolate, when combined, could be the basis for world peace. I believe that Jesus rocks and communism doesn’t. I believe that white makes me look fat and black collects lint. I believe summer’s too hot, winter’s too cold and fall was made for football. I like dogs better than cats and the first movie in a trilogy is invariably the best. But most of all, I believe that love conquers all.

Conviction Cover

She was mine. Our love, unquestioned. Our futures planned. But she didn’t show. All that we had, all that we meant, and after all that was said, she just didn’t show. That one act changed everything, but it especially changed me and from that moment on, there was no going back.

No words of love, no whispered promises, just sex and drugs and rock and roll. No one gets a piece of Reed, but what they will get is the night of their life, the chance to let go, break their own rules and enjoy the best, the dirtiest, filthiest sex ever… along with the other four people in my bed.

I thought he loved me, I believed everything he said, every promise that he made but then, when I needed him more than I’d needed anyone in my life, and when I was at my most vulnerable, he let me down. He chose to take a different path and leave me to pick up the pieces of my now broken life. I was changed forever and chose the easy option letting others take charge of my destiny, until, once again, I’m let down in the cruelest of ways.

“Come To Me Softly” by A.L. Jackson Cover Reveal & Excerpt

Title: Come To Me Softly (Closer to You #2)

Author: A.L. Jackson

Expected Release Date:  Summer 2014

Genre:  New Adult Romance

From the New York Times bestselling author of Come to Me Quietly comes

a scorching new adult romance in the Closer to You series.

                 A second chance at life…

A second chance at love…

Jared Holt never thought he deserved either—until he found both in the arms of Aly Moore. Aly has loved Jared for as long as she can remember, and she’s more than ready for the future they’re making together. But Jared can’t help remembering his own family. And he’ll never forgive himself for what happened to them. How can he allow himself the very happiness he once destroyed?

To live a life worthy of Aly, Jared knows he has to stop running and finally put his past to rest. But when he decides to face his demons head on, he encounters more than he bargained for: a dangerous mix of jealousy, lies, and dishonest intentions. When those intentions threaten Aly, Jared loses all control, giving into the rage that earned him his bad boy reputation years before. And he’ll fight to protect her no matter what it costs…even if he destroys himself in the process.

I gasped when strong. arms wrapped around me from behind. Then I melted when he buried his face in my neck. Jared spun me around and pressed me up against the cool metal of my car door. His hands were on my face, in my hair, slipping down my sides before he brought them back up to force me to look at him. “Thank you.” Desperation poured from him, his hold increasing as he stared down at the shock I felt lining my face. “Thank you for fucking believing in me, Aly. For getting me.”

Fear lashed across his face. Or maybe it was remorse. He swallowed hard, his voice hardened with strain. “I’m scared to think of where I’d be right now without you.”

That fear that had flashed on his face coiled in my stomach. Because I didn’t know where he’d been. Had no idea where the last three months had taken him. How far. How low.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to know.

“You’re here with me now.” I had to believe that was all that mattered.

He grimaced. Gripping my face, he leaned down and kissed me, hard and demanding. There was no soft affection, none of the playfulness from upstairs. This was a seal. A branding. He jerked back. A storm raged in the blue of his eyes. “Don’t think I can’t see all those questions burning in your mind, Aly. And I may not have all the answers right now, but we are going to figure this out. Do you understand me? I promise you that.”

And I saw it all there, the torment that plagued Jared, this beautiful man who had lost his way, the one desperate to find his way home.

Teaser for REMY by Katy Evans

“There’s no time to wait for Coach to rehash what I did. I pummeled ten dudes to the ground and I’m fucking tired. But—at the same time—I’m wired as hell.

“Well done, boy. I’m gonna send a pair of masseuses to work on you,” he says once we’re in the locker room, and slaps my back.

In silence, I grab a pair of Gatorades to replenish my minerals and head out to the car with my duffel, knowing Pete and Riley will bring her to me soon. I want her.

At the hotel suite, my cock is hard and fully standing when I shower and I have to turn the knob to cold—ice-cold—as the water runs down my body. Dragging in a breath, I close my eyes and plant my hands on the wall as the water calms me.

But, god, the way she looks at me, the way she smells . . . Come tomorrow, when she works for me, I can smell her anytime, if I want to. And I want to.

When I come out of the shower in a towel, a pair of massage therapists have been let in by Diane.

“Food’s hot now, Remy,” she calls from the kitchen.

“Not now.” I grab an ice pack from the fridge and several more Gatorade bottles and then settle down at the foot of the bed, my muscles worn. My face hurts and I slap the ice pack on the sore as the women start working me. They massaged me last time and immediately get to work on my arms and shoulders while I intently wait for a certain signal from out in the living room. And then I hear it.

Anticipation curls around my gut and I train my eyes on the bedroom door. Pete strolls inside in his best PA mode, and something tangles in my chest when I see her following him.

Brooke Dumas.

God, she scrambles my head.

Her legs look lean and endless in those tight jeans she must use butter to slide into, and the soft-pink top she wears is the same exact shade of her lips.

I like the shade of her hair, dark and seductive and sun-lightened with just a hint of copper, and I like the small earrings on her ears. She’s wearing hardly anything fake. No watch. No bracelets. Small earrings, and her lips are shiny with something. The rest of her is fresh and natural as a flower, but not even flowers smell as fucking good as her.

She’s checking out my bare chest, and I concentrate on not blinking in order not to miss the way her cheeks heat up and her eyes fill with lust. My body tightens with need. I haven’t had anyone in days, and I’m not used to any sort of abstinence. It’s simple to me: if I want it, I indulge. Hungry? Eat, asshole.

But all I want to eat now is her. I wish her hands were the ones on my shoulders. . . . No. I want my hands on her small shoulders. But I want them most on her clothes, ripping them away so I can see her.

When Brooke stares at me, and then the therapists, in slight confusion, I slap the ice pack down, finish my Gatorade, and toss it aside.

“Did you enjoy the fight?” I ask.

She startles slightly at my voice, which is gruff with dehydration and exhaustion, and my lips curl into a smile.

I want to run my fingers over her skin. She was a runner; and that flesh has seen the sun. It looks as warm as her eyes and the faint light streaks in her beautiful dark hair.

She’s silent as she contemplates the question. Like it has an answer other than the one I’ve always received, which obviously is yes. Isn’t it?

“You make it interesting,” she finally answers.

I’m slightly thrown. So, she’s not a fan of mine? “Is that all?” I prod.

The hands on my back and shoulders become annoying, and I roll my shoulders to jerk them off. “Leave me,” I command the women.

The women head out—and she’s alone with me. In my suite. My bedroom. Inches from my bed. Inches from me.

Once again, I’m hard as stone. I remember she’d been sitting with two women and a man who seemed protective of her. Yeah, thanks for protecting her, dude, but I’m taking it from here.

“The man you’re with . . . Is he your boyfriend?”

Amusement sparks in her eyes and I think I see a slight curl to the corners of her lips. “No, he’s just a friend.”

“No husband?” I keep prodding. Possessively, I study her ring finger and see how slim and delicate her hands look.

“No husband, not at all.”

The air is static. My entire body is ready to fuck her. Just being near her feels sexual. “You interned at a private school rehabbing their young athletes?”

She looks surprised, her eyes sparking with curiosity and disbelief. “You looked me up?”

“Actually, we did.” Pete and Riley come into the room, and her attention swings away from me. But mine doesn’t shift. I know what they’re going to say already. I told them what, exactly, they would propose today.

Miss Dumas . . . I’m sure you’re wondering why you’re here, so we’ll just cut to it. We’re leaving town in two days and I’m afraid there’s no time to do things differently. Mr. Tate wants to hire you. . . .

She looks so surprised that I smile inside, even as my insides go tense. I don’t want her to say no. She surprised me today, denying she liked my fight. If she says no to this too, I’m not going to take it so well.

The tension escalates when she frowns after Pete’s explanation that I want her to travel with me from site to site. I don’t like the way her eyes darken.

“What is it, exactly, that you think I do? I’m not an escort,” she says.

Okay, so she doesn’t look as excited about the job as I’d thought she would be. Wary, I settle back down on the bench seat and watch her, torn between amusement and frustration at the way things are developing. Both Pete and Riley burst out laughing at her comment; I don’t.

“You’re onto us, Miss Dumas. Yes, I admit when we’re traveling, we find it convenient to keep one or several special friends of Mr. Tate’s to, shall we say, accommodate his needs either before or after a fight,” Pete laughingly explains.

Her left eyebrow shoots up and now I want to laugh at how these idiots paint me. But, hell, if she thinks my being friendly with the ladies is something bad, then wait until she hears about the worst part of me.

Suddenly, this whole scene is just not amusing at all. If I go manic before I can ever get close to her, I’ll be completely fucked. But I also can’t just take her to bed and let her go, I don’t want to let this one go.

“A man like Remington has very particular requirements, as you might guess, Miss Dumas,” Riley tells her. “But he’s been very specific in the fact that he’s no longer interested in the friends we had secured for him during our trip. He wants to focus on what’s important, and instead, he wants you to come work for him.”

She glances at Riley, then Pete, and then at me, and she looks puzzled, which is cute.

Pete flips through the folders. “You interned at the Military Academy of Seattle in sports rehab for their middle graders, and we see you’ve just graduated only two weeks ago. We’re prepared to hire your services, which will cover the duration of our eight cities we have left to tour, and Mr. Tate’s continued conditioning for future competitions. We will be very generous with your salary. It’s very prestigious to tend to such a followed athlete and should be impressive in any résumé. It might even allow you to be a free agent if in the future you decide to leave.”

She blinks and seems completely disconcerted. “I’ll have to think about it. I’m not really looking for something away from Seattle long term.”

She glances at me, somehow hesitantly and even confused. “Now if that’s all you wanted to say to me, I’d better get home. I’ll leave my card on your bar.” She swings around and heads for the door.

For a moment, I stare at her retreating back, disappointed as fuck.

I’ve been planning this for days. I’ve been wondering what it would be like to have her with me every day. I’ve been stone-hard to the point of pain imagining what her hands on me will feel like. . . .

“Answer me now,” I say, my voice harsher than I anticipated.

“Finding The Right Girl” by Violet Duke Book Promo Tour : November 20-27, 2013

Title: Finding The Right Girl

Author: Violet Duke

Genre:  New Adult Romance

Cover reveal organized by: Bonnie’s Book Blog

FINDING THE RIGHT GIRL is now live on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo! Whoohoo! This is the Book Blurb & Cover Reveal. I will be posting my review on December 2nd, 2013..So stay tuned for more of Violet Duke’s AMAZING series!!

From the New York Times & USA Today bestselling author who brought you the Nice Girl to Love trilogy, comes A Nice GUY to Love spin-off…

Brian Sullivan has been in love twice in his lifetime. He lost his first love to early-onset Huntington’s, and he lost the other more recently…to his brother. And somehow, his heart has managed to heal itself after both. Amazingly, without therapy. That doesn’t mean Brian hasn’t gotten more wary along the way, however. In fact, he’s been thinking lately that maybe his brother’s now retired nothing-but-flings rule isn’t such a bad idea. Unfortunately, being the nice guy poster boy and all, he isn’t exactly versed in the fine art of flings. So he looks to the outrageously ‘unique,’ provokingly button-pushing Tessa Daniels for a crash course.

There’s absolutely no way he’s falling in love with this one…right?

Tessa has no idea what she was thinking telling Brian that she was some sort of fling expert. She’s never been flung before and she sure as heck doesn’t know where or how to begin flinging a guy like Brian. It was a temporary lapse in sanity, really—no doubt because of the can’t-help-but-fall-for-him brain fuzz that hits her whenever he’s around. Not only does the man have her being more herself than she’s ever been in her life, but he’s the only person she knows who seems to have as many demons and skeletons in the closet as she does. What’s more, he’s got her thinking of the one thing she stopped letting herself even hope for years ago.

A happily ever after.

The demons of prior failed marriages haunt them both, and threaten to end things just as they are beginning. When Jake tells Eve he is falling in love with her, Eve refuses to believe it can last. Returning to Newport, the hollowness of her existence exposed, she must confront her fears before she loses Jake forever.

She stood in front of the glass case, and pondered which pastry should would get with her coffee. She was starving, and hoped her stomach rumbles were only loud enough for her to hear.
“Eve,” a deep, masculine voice called behind her.
She turned, her eyes locking onto the cerulean blue that had made their way into her dreams the night before.
“Hi, Jake,” she said, her voice elevated slightly.
Then came the rush of heat to her cheeks. God, could she be more juvenile?
He smiled at her, the corners of his mouth turning up mischievously.
Damn, he is all sorts of sexy.

The room went still, neither of them spoke for a moment.

Jake internalized what Eve had said, and realized just how she could have perceived something that was in direct contradiction to what he had felt.
Raising his head, he placed his hand at the back of her neck, and sighed loudly.
“I am so sorry if I gave you that impression. It was the farthest thing from my mind, I can assure you.  I can’t do the ‘friends with benefits’ thing either and that’s why I left.  I didn’t want you to think I was just interested in getting you into bed.  I mean, don’t get me wrong; I am very interested in getting you into bed,” he ran his hand through his hair, and inhaled deeply.
“But I didn’t want you to think I was just taking advantage of you.  I like you.  I really like you.  And if I could figure out how to take all my vacation time right now, I would spend every minute of the next three weeks with you.”
“Are you hungry?” she asked.
Jake moved her hair out of the way, and placed kisses along her shoulder and up her neck, as his hands flexed against her abdomen.
A barely audible, “yes,” sent quivers through Eve.
“What would you like?” she asked, and ran her hands along his arms.
“You,” Jake said, and pulled her back against him.

Jake lightly kissed her at the very lowest point on her back, and slowly made his way along her warm smooth skin.

Soft moans escaped her.
Running his hands up either side of her body, he cupped the outsides of her breasts.

The anger in her started to dissipate, and tears rolled down her cheeks.

“I’m desperate for you to stay, Eve.  I cannot imagine you not being here.  What can I do to convince you to give us a chance?  To have an even better life here – with me?  I love you so much.”
“You’ll get over it, Jake.  Trust me.  You may love me now, but what you feel will change.  And then you will leave.”
“Why?  Because that’s what your ex-husband did?” Jake stepped back from her, looking at her with incredulity.
“Because that is what everyone has done, Jake.”
