Ever since high school, Kayla has been crazy for gorgeous football player Talon. But before she could muster the courage to tell him, he became a hot item with her beautiful BFF, Reagan. The only person who knows Kayla’s secret is Wesley, Talon’s best bud—and he’s got it bad for Reagan. Now they’re all in college together, hanging out 24/7. For Kayla, seeing the two lovebirds together is absolutely unbearable. So Kayla and Wesley hatch a plot to drive them apart before Talon has a chance to give Reagan the Christmas gift she’s been waiting for.
Soon enough, the once happy couple is fighting. Reagan suddenly can’t get enough of Wesley’s goofy sense of humor, and Talon seems to be paying more attention to Kayla than a guy who’s “only a friend” ever should. But just when everything seems to be falling into place, Kayla and Wesley accidentally spend a night together and discover a hitch in their plan they never considered: that switching partners may not lead to a perfect ending after all.
Cassie Mae put this story together quite nicely, if you ask me. It has a great story-line that just keeps you wanting more. This story made me laugh so hard, I have no idea when I laughed so hard before in my life. I fell in love with Wes from the beginning. I have no idea why Kayla didn’t. Kayla is a girl who like every other girl I have ever met, has fallen for the all famous high school dream man. But what sucks for Kayla is that Talon which is this dream man of hers, just started dating her best friend Reagan. So since the two people that they like are dating each other they come up with some genius plan to break them up. HILARIOUS BTW … LOL..
What really gets to me, is that Wes has never really shown that much interest in Reagan as he thinks. You come to find out that these two love birds pining over other people are really made for each other. They are like two peas in a pod. I do not want to give the gory details, so I will let you read the book and find out more. Below you can win a copy of this book from Net-galley from the publisher. So go ahead and comment on this review and I will put you into the drawing to find out more of this amazing romance story.

Three Rules by Marie Drake
Title: Three Rules
Author: Marie Drake
Genre: Suspense, Fiction
Publication Date: September 24, 2013
Quoted from Three Rules:
“I have learned three rules in my life: 1.) The most dangerous people in the world are not always strangers. 2.) The scariest things imaginable are not those that can kill you, but those you can live through. And probably the most prominent: 3.) The most horrible possibility is not what could happen to you, but what you could become – I became a killer.” ~Hope Wellman
Hope Wellman has a childhood full of horrific memories, a bone chilling recurring nightmare, and a persistent paranoid sense of being followed that she would rather keep repressed. Is evil reaching from beyond the grave to capture the tattered remnants of her soul once and for all, is it only a machination of her disturbed mind, or is there something happening more sinister than even she can imagine?
Attending the funeral of her abuser is the first step in putting her life back together. She struggles with the fact she never told anyone what happened to her, and that the grave they are mourning over is empty. She’d find it a lot easier to move on and believe in the future if he were in the box, ready to be covered with dirt. She fears the last thread of her sanity has snapped when she sees Lucas everywhere she turns, and can’t escape a recurring nightmare. Is her tormentor alive, or is she imagining it? Is her dream triggered by past fears or is it a prediction of the future?
*An Empty Grave*
I want to spit on his grave, but I won’t. That would cause the surrounding people to be offended and confused, all these people who didn’t truly know him but honor him at this service. I hold my frame as stiff as a board beneath the dark, rumbling sky full of churning clouds – the perfect weather to send him off. I twist my buttons trying to make sure they all point in the same direction. It’s a trivial thing to be focused on at a grave site, but my obsessiveness won’t allow me to stop until I fix them all.
I guess most people would be sad attending two family members’ funerals so close together. I’m not. We buried Grandfather Leonard not long ago. I didn’t cry. I didn’t know him. I didn’t know what I was missing by not knowing him. I don’t have any grandparents on my mother’s side either. I wasn’t his real grandchild anyway – and he never fussed over his own children – so why would he fuss over their children? I’m wearing the same black dress. My black hat covers my long blonde hair, fashioned into a bun. A veil conceals my face. I’m not crying for the loss of this man either, but no one can tell. Another rumble of thunder sounds and lightning crackles through the clouds. It seems appropriate that the sky swell up and spit on him for me. The pearly gates will not open to welcome him. No, he will not spend a single moment of eternity in a peaceful state.
There is no open casket, no public viewing. The authorities recovered his boat with evidence of some blood, a few strands of hair, and empty alcohol bottles. It was a logical conclusion that he fell, bumped his head, and went into the water. They did not recover his body. Too bad, I may find some morbid sense of satisfaction seeing him laying there in a coffin dead.
This ceremony over an empty grave seems very strange. Among all these tearful people mourning and sharing embraces, I separate myself. I look at them. I can see the fear in some of their faces. He died very young. They’re afraid of death.
I scan the cemetery. So many headstones, so many graves, they all contain secrets – even the empty ones. I stand alone, twisting these buttons, counting the reasons I’m glad he’s dead.
Okay, I have no idea where to begin.. The plot in this novel is really something. The whole story is just fantastic. Marie Drake really kept you inside this story-line. In this story, almost everyone was made of secrets. My favorite characters in this book were Joey and Lucas. And Hope just reminded me of a girl trying to get by and survive. Because when she was younger she lived through a very rough childhood. She still is haunted by them days in her past, that her present is still frightening to her in some ways. She thinks she is being followed by someone and is paranoid of what it is. This book has a slow-paced story-line, but it lets you get to know all the characters, without skipping anything. This book also has a lot of action and drama that will keep you on your toes. Read it to find out all the details. I do not want to tell u too much because it is a story that you just need to read by yourself to understand everything that happens.
This was a great book, that I would recommend to anyone looking for a good book out there. This is the one to go get.. Overall this story is horrifying in multiple ways. You never know what will happen. It is a chiller of the spine novel..
Marie Drake lives with her husband and their four wonderful sons in a small town near Lake Ontario. They take advantage of what others deem a vacation spot all year long. Camping and hiking are some of their favorite family activities. They also enjoy volunteering at the local animal shelter together, and recently rescued a Jack Russell/Corgi mix who made their family complete.
Marie is a crochet fanatic. She designs her own patterns and enjoys crocheting for friends, family, and charity. She loves to cook and bake, especially when making up a new recipe. Marie is an avid reader of romance, mystery, and suspense thrillers.
She is a woman of many interests – and maybe talents – but will be quick to tell you that her most important and proudest accomplishment is the part she played in the lives of children. She provided daycare for over ten years, and she and her husband fostered more than fifteen children over a five year period.
While juggling all her boys’ sporting events, academic, musical, and other extra curricular activities, and running a small home based business designing crochet afghan patterns, Marie tries to squeeze in some time for writing each day.

Title: Songs From The Phenomenal Nothing
Author: Steven Luna
Genre: Adult, Mature YA “Coming of Age Story”
Publication Date: August 31, 2013
It’s just me and him. Him and me. A man I can’t comprehend, designated by the universe as my father but someone I prefer to call Tom, and a kid he can’t relate to but calls son anyway because he’s determined to try. I really wish he’d just call me Tyler. He probably wishes I’d call him Dad. But I’m not comfortable with that at this point. Our differences and our lack of mutual understanding are the only things we seem to agree on. And even those get heated sometimes. Seriously, it’s a miracle that we haven’t hurt each other yet. I’m not sure how much longer we can hold out. *** Seventeen year-old guitar prodigy Tyler Mills has become lost in the aftermath of his mother’s death. Disconnected more and more from his father, he takes refuge from it all in two things: his music and his girlfriend. But everything changes with the chance discovery of his mother’s journal-and the long-held family secret within that could alter his life forever.
Okay here it goes. I have never heard of Steven Luna, until now. I love this novel so much. It to me is a 5-star rating… I would love to see if he continues to write young adult novels. If so, I would love to read them as well. But anyways here it goes with my review.
I got this book from the publisher for an honest review. So that is what I am going to be giving you.
This story is actually very heart-warming and also a story that anyone can really read.. If you haven’t read it, go do so now..you won’t be disappointed.
Tyler lost his mother and was in a part of his life where he didn’t know what to do next. You will get so tied up in with his emotions, that you will think that you are right there. I know I did. Although, Tyler is the main character in this book. This is a testament to Steven Luna’s way of writing as it is very rare a minor character grabs my attention and thoughts much when I put the book down, but I’ve found myself not only thinking about Tyler, but also Tom and Xan quite a lot too.
Steven Luna made this plot in this book so amazing. You will never get bored reading it. You just want more of it to come. So you keep reading.. This book will keep you emotionally hooked from beginning to end. Not in a bad way neither. It is really just amazing on how you feel reading it, like you are feeling what the characters are feeling. I have never felt like that towards any other book. I really underestimated Lunas writing.. To be honest, I wasn’t excited about reading this novel. I wanted a review for my page. But I started to read it, and by god it got my attention immediately. <—(NO OFFENSE TO STEVEN LUNA)….
Steven Luna wrote with such warmth, sincerity and honesty in this novel that I truly believed every word. My heart was aching and my eyes were watering as I lived through Tyler’s emotions. It’s very hard for an author to make me cry, but within the first few pages that is exactly what was happening, and I wish to offer the highest praise for the style of writing that Steven Luna wrote. You want to reach through this book and help Tyler get through this terrible time. His writing is very emotional, and by the end you really want this book to be just the beginning.
This novel overall is “PHENOMENAL“..
“I really hope that this is not the last novel I read of Steven Luna”.

*****This book is erotica. That means lots and lots of sex with a good amount of kink*****
That got your attention.
Some of the most powerful and well known women in the country pay to have sex with me, some of them married. Some are into more than just straight sex, which is why they call me. Bondage, power play, submission…nothing is off the table. I will do anything for the right price.
The stories I could tell you about a certain high profile congresswoman, or that innocent blonde actress. Trust me, she’s not so innocent.
Guys would kill for my job. I’m living the fucking dream. Meaningless sex, no relationship hang-ups and I’m rolling in the dough. Life is perfect, just the way it is.
Until I meet her.
She changes everything.
She makes me want more than I’ve ever wanted for myself and she believes in me. But she also thinks I sell insurance. I can’t stop what I do, but I can’t give her up.
Eventually, my two worlds are going to collide and when they do, shit will hit the fan.
“You want me to what?” I gawked at Ian, my manager, sure I had heard him wrong. He rolled his eyes.
“Beth, don’t pretend to be shy. You know sex sells. If you’re naked in the video, it will get more hype. And that means more sales,” he added. I hated that little condescending sneer of his. “Besides,” He added, leaning in, “It’s not like nobody here hasn’t seen that
little body of yours.” He put his hand on my ass and I cringed.
My face flushed. Ian was a snake and I wanted nothing more than to slap that grin off his face. Instead, I stood tall, aware the rest of the production crew was watching us.
“Fine,” I said through gritted teeth. I stalked off to my dressing room.
Slamming the door shut, I ripped off my jacket, my phone falling to the floor. I
bent down to pick it up. A message. Coop. When was
he going to take the hint that I wanted nothing to do with him?
Beth please talk to me.
I’m worried about you.
Worried about me?
Where the fuck was he when I needed him? I deleted the message and shoved the phone back in my jacket. My thoughts wandered back to Ian and what a disgusting pervert he was. I didn’t doubt for a second that he
would be taking a copy of the film home so he can jerk off to it.
God, he made my skin crawl.
Missy lives in a small town in Victoria with her husband and her confused pets (a dog who thinks that she is a cat, a cat who thinks he is a dog…you get the picture).

“The Ever After of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen”
Title: The Ever After of Ella and Micha
Author: Jessica Sorensen
Release Date: December 3, 2013
# of Pages: 272 Pages
Hosted By: Bonnie’s Book Blog
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Temptation of Lila and Ethan comes a story of change, hope, and unbreakable vows.
The day Ella has waited for is just around the corner. It’s the day she’ll marry Micha, the love of her life, the light that guided her out of the darkness. It looks like it will be the perfect Christmas-until an unexpected package arrives with a harsh reminder of Ella’s past. Suddenly Ella doesn’t feel as confident about her future. Can she really have a “happily-ever-after” if she’s never even seen one?
Micha will stand by Ella no matter what she’s going through-though he worries that she might leave him standing at the altar again. When he’s offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance to tour with his favorite bands for three months, Micha knows he can’t leave Ella behind. But can he ask her to uproot her life to join him on the road?
Now Ella and Micha must find a way to balance their fears, their dreams, and their love . . . if they ever want to hear wedding bells.
“Baby, come on. Let them be. They deserve a beautiful wedding not an elopement in a tacky fake church.” Lila glides her hand up the front of his chest, stands on her tiptoes, and kisses his neck. Then she whispers something in his ear as she plays with his hair.
I’ll admit they make a cute couple, especially now that Lila has this whole grunge thing going. Her blond hair is chin length and streaked with black that matches Ethan’s hair. She’s wearing jeans and a tank top that aren’t name brand like everything she used to wear when we were living together. Her style goes well with Ethan’s laid back look: his plaid shirt and faded jeans and a pair of sneakers that he’s probably owned since he was sixteen. And Lila’s average height allows her to nestle her head against Ethan’s chest comfortably. Looking at them with the sunlight and my house in the backdrop, I find myself wishing I had time to draw them.
After a lot of kissing and whispering in Ethan’s ear, Lila convinces him to stop complaining and he begrudgingly agrees that Vegas is a ridiculous idea and that Micha and I should get married in Star Grove.
“A week is not a lot of time to prepare a wedding,” Lila declares, pulling her sunglasses over her eyes. “Not a real one with decorations, flowers, dresses, tuxes, and guests. God, I wish we had more time to plan this.”
“And I wish you wouldn’t take any time to plan it,” I say, and when she frowns I sigh. “Sorry, I’m just not into wedding stuff.” I round the car to the passenger side of the Chevelle, trailing my finger across a few dings and chips in the black paint that were put there when Micha intentionally crashed it into the snow bank.
Micha opens the driver door and steps back so Ethan can climb into the backseat. “It doesn’t matter what kind of wedding we have,” he says, “just as long as Ella’s there with me. In fact, we don’t even need dresses and tuxes. We could even be naked and standing in my backyard and I’d be okay.” He winks at me over the roof of the car. “As long as we’re together, I’ll be happy and being naked would just be an added bonus.”
This makes Lila giggle as she ducks her head and hops into the backseat with Ethan. I push the seat back, get in the car, and shut the door, then pull the visor down to block the sunlight.
Micha adjusts the driver’s seat before he closes the door and starts the engine. “So is everyone ready for this?” He looks around at the three of us, but when his eyes finally land on me I know he only really cares about my answer.
It takes me a second to answer and he notices my hesitation and his expression starts to fall. But even though my throat feels dry I manage to say, “Of course.” My voice trembles a little.
“Okay then.” Giving me a small but slightly forced smile, he backs down the driveway and drives toward the highway, toward home where all of this started. Where Micha and I first met, first talked, first played, kissed, fooled around, danced, said I love you.
Where Micha and I began.
THE SECRET OF ELLA AND MICHAA rule-breaker with a fiery attitude, Ella always wore her heart on her sleeve. Then she left everything behind to go to college, where she transformed into someone who follows the rules, keeps everything together, and hides all her problems. Now it’s summer break and she has nowhere else to go but home. But once there, Ella fears that everything she’s worked so hard to bury might resurface-especially with Micha living right next door.
Smart, sexy, and confident, Micha can get under Ella’s skin like no one else. He knows everything about her, including her darkest secrets. If he tries to tempt the old Ella to return, he will be impossible to resist. But what Ella doesn’t realize is that when she left, she took a piece of Micha’s heart with her. Now he’s determined to win back the girl he lost, no matter what it takes.
Ella is back at school, trying hard not worry so much about her future. But with her father in and out of rehab, she’s having a hard time making it through the days. All she wants is Micha by her side, but she refuses to let her problems get in the way of his dreams.
Micha spends his days touring the country with his band, but deep down he knows something is missing. Being away from Ella is harder than he thought it would be. He wants her closer to him-needs her with him. But he won’t ask her to leave college, just to be with him.
The few moments they do spend together are intense and passionate, but it only makes it more difficult when they have to part. They know they want to be together, but is wanting something enough to get them to their forever?
On the surface, Lila Summers is flawless: good looks, expensive clothes, and a big, beautiful smile. But a dark past and even darker secrets are threatening to bubble over her perfect façade. She’ll do anything to keep the emptiness inside hidden-which leads her into situations that always end badly. Whenever she hits bottom, there’s only one person who’s there to pull her out: Ethan Gregory.
Ethan set the rules a long time ago: he and Lila are just friends. He doesn’t do relationships. Although his tattooed, bad boy exterior is a far cry from Lila’s pretty princess image, Ethan can’t deny they have a deeper connection than he’s used to. If he’s not careful, he could be in serious danger of becoming attached-and he’s learned the hard way that attachment only leads to heartbreak.
When Lila falls farther than she ever has before, can Ethan continue to help as a friend? Or is he also getting close to falling . . . for her?

Draw Me In by Megan Squires
He’s a young, up and coming businessman with the keys to his family’s Italian wine enterprise.
I’m a fine arts student, navigating life in the Big Apple, my pencil and sketchpad in hand.
We meet. We fall in love.
But it’s not that story.
Sometimes, by a rare gift of fate, two lives cross paths. And hey, if that happens to occur when staring at Michelangelo’s naked masterpiece, even better. We can tell our future children how a seventeen-foot tall marble guy named David brought us together.
But there’s always more to a relationship than its beginning and ever after. In life, there’s a whole lot of back-story. There are ex-fiances and hot roommates and family members whose advice continues, even beyond the grave.
When you say you love someone, it’s never just that one person you’re saying it to. And it’s never just that one moment that sets everything in motion.
There is always more that draws you in.

Sex. Love. Repeat. by Alessandra Torre
I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware that there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I will let them know. They don’t need to know a name, they don’t need to know anything but that they are not alone in my heart.
They have accepted the situation. Stewart, because his life is too busy for the sort of obligations that are required in a relationship. Paul, because he loves me too much to tell me no. And because my sexual appetite is such that one man has trouble keeping up.
So we exist, two parallel relationships, each running their own course, with no need for intersection or conflict. It worked for us, for them, and for me. I never expected it to be a long term situation, I knew there was an expiration date on the easy perfection of our lives.
I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and plotted our demise.
